This EPA-approved five-day class is intended for supervisory personnel who direct asbestos abatement projects. Lead Abatement Inspectors Training Course

This 24 hour course first takes the inspector through all the OSHA, EPA, State, and Local regulatory requirements relating to the handling, removal, disposal, and transportation of lead-based paint and debris. Once the regulatory requirements are covered the inspector is taught how the regulations apply to the installation of isolation barriers (i.e. containment), respiratory protection, protective clothing, posting of signs, etc... This course walks the inspector through several project scenarios showing the inspector what to look for and how to identify potential problems before they manifest themselves during or following abatement/encapsulation.
